Animators Doug Bayne, Ben Baker and Trudy Cooper has given a collection of famous classic paintings an irreverent twist by transforming them into hilarious animations.
Based on well-known artworks like Grant Wood’s American Gothic, these short animations were featured on Australian sketch comedy show “The Elegant Gentleman’s Guide to Knife Fighting”.
Other than some unexpected actions, these animated shorts also include funny voice-over conversations that imagine what the subjects in the paintings may be thinking or saying.
